CIW leads the Interfaith Mental Health Advocacy Network (IMHAN), which brings together:

  • Mosques
  • Community faith leaders
  • Counselors
  • Peer specialists
  • Culturally specific organizations
Goals include:
  • Reducing stigma around mental health
  • Training faith leaders on trauma, suicide awareness, and crisis response
  • Improving access to culturally responsive services
  • Advocating for better statewide mental health policies
  • Building community-wide healing networks

This initiative bridges faith, culture, and wellness.
